Last week in Episode 99 of the podcast, Ben and I talked about how sometimes buying some new gear can give you extra motivation to practice, which will in turn make you a better shooter.
I’m pretty squared away with gear: good enough holster, good enough pistol, CR Speed belt, but I’ve been lacking on the magazine pouch side of things for a while now. Magazine pouches are such a simple thing that I’ve never been able to bring myself to throw down $100+ for a good set of them.
Well, today that changed. After playing with Ben’s Ghost mag pouches for a couple weeks I decided to just pull the trigger and order a set of them. Buy once, cry once, ya know?
So, I’ve got 5 black Ghost magazine pouches on the way from Ben Stoeger Pro Shop. Purchasing these was a little easier knowing that if I decide to stray away from Glocks again in the future, these pouches will still work for most any doublestack 9mm pistol.
Now I wait for them to arrive, and I can’t help but think that I should have bought some more dry-fire targets too…

These are great pouches for what they cost and the fact that they can be used for so many different magazines is also a real bonus when you decide may want to sell them.
Good luck@
Yeah, I’m excited about them. Thinking I need a second holster to have one to leave on my CR Speed belt now…
